
National Nuclear Physics Summer School 2026

Student Lodging
Summer school students should anticipate arriving on Sunday, June 28 and departing either late Saturday, July 11 or anytime Sunday, July 12.
Students will stay in double-occupancy dormitory rooms in Alder Hall. All rooms are fully furnished with private restrooms, complimentary laundry facilities, wireless Internet, and gym and games area access. Bedding, towels, soap, and drinking cups are provided. Residence halls are not air-conditioned; however, a small fan is placed in each sleeping room.
Students can expect to take a 5-10 minute walk to the Physics/Astronomy Auditorium, where most of the lectures will be held.
Lecturer Lodging
Seattle is hosting several FIFA World Cup games this summer; as a result, lodging options are limited in July, so we recommend that lecturers stay in UW dormitory housing. If you are a lecturer with questions about lodging, please contact Kimberlee Choe.
Travel
Students should plan to arrive on Sunday, June 28 and leave late on Saturday, July 11 or anytime Sunday, July 12.
We recommend flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Recommendations for getting to the UW campus from the airport can be found here.
