BNL-INT Joint Workshop: Bridging Theory and Experiment at the Electron-Ion Collider
June 2-6, 2025
A. Bacchetta, W. Cosyn, F. Ringer, A. Stasto

This workshop was embedded in the middle of the longer 5-week CFNS-INT Joint Program: Precision QCD with the Electron Ion Collider (EIC). It brought together theoretical and experimental practitioners working on nuclear and high-energy physics topics relevant for the program of the future EIC. The five-day workshop covered multiple aspects of the EIC program such as multi-dimensional hadron structure, low-x physics, radiative QED corrections and jet physics. Ample question time after each talk and general discussion time at the end of each day facilitated productive conversations between all participants and refined the understanding of certain outstanding issues among the participants. The participants were very positive about the results of the workshop and greatly appreciated the facilities at the INT which provided a welcoming environment that made many additional interactions and discussions outside of the workshop schedule possible.
