Indiana University
Nuclear Theory Center and the IU Cyclotron Facility
Research Associate Position in Theoretical Neutrino Interactions Physics

The Nuclear Theory Center and the Experimental Nuclear Physics Group at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility is seeking to fill a postdoctoral research associate position in the area of neutrino-nucleus interactions and interpretation and modeling of neutrino interaction data. In particular, recent high-statistics results from MiniBooNE, SciBooNE, and Minos would be studied. The goal would be to provide additional insight into the underlying processes and to develop robust and complete models that may be used for next-generation neutrino oscillation experiments such as T2K, NOvA, and DUSEL long-baseline. The experimental and theoretical nuclear physics groups have vibrant and active research programs addressing fundamental questions in nuclear and particle physics. Both of these efforts are headquartered within the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility (IUCF) and conduct active seminar and visitor programs. More information may be found at http://www.iucf.indiana.edu and http://www.indiana.edu/~ntcpage/. The duration of the position is for one year with possible renewal for up to three years. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, publication list, a statement of research interests, and three letters of recommendation to:
