Over 300 Leavenworth area residents attended an open public meeting on November 24, 2003 held at Cascade High School in Leavenworth. Prof. Wick Haxton presented an overview of the proposed potential National Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory Icicle Creek site. This talk was followed by a question and answer session.
